We are seeking a motivated and reliable Community Care Worker to join our Aged Care team.  the role will be based from Nudgee but will work in the community, supporting clients to enable them to continue living at home.  Support provided may include providing transport, assisting with shopping, accessing community activities and personal care (including showering and providing medication prompts).  Shifts are available between 7am and 5pm Monday to Sunday.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have your own, reliable vehicle which is suitable for transporting people who may have physical limitations.  You will ideally have previous experience in providing community care, working with people with cognitive and/or physical limitations. Our clients rely on the services we provide so it's important that you are able to commit and be reliable.  Although you'll be part of a larger team, you'll be working out in the community so this role requires you to be able to work autonomously and as part of our team.  You must have a mobile phone (smart phone) and a clear Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver Licence.  A Cert III in Aged Care or Community Services would be advantageous. To work at Mercy Community you must be able to obtain an Australian Federal Police check prior to commencing in the role.
