Our Aged Care Services team is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team at Nudgee. This is a hands on position, focussed on achieving high levels of client satisfaction. The role is responsible for providing residents and visitors with high quality, nutritious and appropriate meals. The Chef will take the lead in ensuring compliance with food safety standards and all relevant regulations and accreditation standards for our 199 bed facility.
To be successful you will possess:
- Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
- Previous experience within a similar role, including supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of food safety and work health and safety industry standards.
- Demonstrated basic to intermediate ability to use computer/IT systems, including clinical systems.
- A Queensland Provisional Green or above Driver Licence.
- Ability to obtain positive notice in the Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and any other legislatively required personal history screening as required.
This role works predominantly Monday to Friday, however there may be a requirement for weekend shifts.

This position offers a competitive remuneration package of $25.86 gross per hour in line with level 7 of the Aged Care Award 2010. You will also have the opportunity to increase your take-home pay by salary sacrificing.
